What We Do
Four charitable objects. One purpose.
These are the objects we are registering with the Charity Commission. Each is exclusively charitable, each tracks the Charities Act 2011 — and each becomes real, traceable help for neurodivergent people.
Relieve the needs of neurodivergent people
We relieve the needs of neurodivergent people — autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, dyslexic, dyspraxic, dyscalculic, Tourette's and more — who are in need by reason of their disability, neurological difference, ill-health or other disadvantage, through advice, information, support, advocacy, assistive resources, equipment and grants.
Preserve and protect health
We preserve and protect the physical and mental health of neurodivergent people — through the relief of sickness and the provision of wellbeing, self-regulation and crisis-prevention support and information.
Advance education
We advance the education of neurodivergent people, and of the public generally, in the subject of neurodivergence and neuro-inclusion.
Promote equality & human rights
We promote equality and diversity and advance human rights for neurodivergent people — raising awareness of, and working towards the elimination of, discrimination and disadvantage on the grounds of disability and neurological difference.
In each case in the United Kingdom and, where the trustees consider it appropriate, elsewhere in the world.
How the work takes shape
What that looks like in practice.
Indicative activities, not promises of scale. We start at zero — and each of these becomes named, dated, traceable help as funding arrives.
Information & guidance
Practical guidance and self-regulation and crisis-prevention resources for neurodivergent people and their families and carers.
Grants & assistive equipment
Grants and the provision of assistive equipment and resources to neurodivergent people in need.
Education & public awareness
Educational content, workshops and public-awareness work on neurodivergence and neuro-inclusion.
Advocacy & anti-discrimination
Advocacy and anti-discrimination awareness — charitable in aim, never party-political.
Research & partnerships
Research and partnerships that advance the objects and the evidence behind them.
What we will never do — by design.
A charity earns trust as much by its limits as by its work. These are ours, written into the constitution before a single pound moves.
- Everything we do is exclusively charitable — nothing for a non-charitable purpose.
- No political purpose. We may campaign in support of our objects, but we never adopt a political purpose, support a party, or be mistaken for the unrelated political organisation 'Momentum'.
- No more-than-incidental private benefit to Momentum Focus Ltd or any connected person — managed at arm's length and market value.
- Trustees are unpaid for acting as trustees (reasonable expenses aside, per the constitution).
We are a CIC today and will convert to a registered charity (a CIO). Gift Aid becomes available only after that conversion — it is not live during the CIC stage. We make no medical or clinical claims.
Don't take our word for it.
These objects only count once they are on the public record. As each registration completes, our constitution, objects and trustees become verifiable at source — on the official UK registers, not just here.
Direct links to our own entries go live as each registration completes.
